The vibes…
It’s fresh, it’s youthful, it’s raw (I mean, the current front page, on Gimaguas’ website is really saying it all haha).
With relaxed fabrics, playful necklines and a muted colour pallet, Gimaguas holds the key to transport a girl right into a 90’s party holiday, a la spain.
Founded by…
Twins! hence translation ‘gimaguas’ - Claudia and Sayana Durany circa. 2018. The girls design the pieces gorgeously in Barcelona and proudly claim to produce right there, locally in Spain too- a trait I adore in a fashion label.
The designs are cutting edge. The Durany girls work alongside global artisans, from uk knitwear specialist Katya Zelentsova to Italian glass blower Gennaro Pepe Ciller, giving focus to a broader sense of creative, artisanal direction and new, unique perspectives.

Thank you sm lovelies for reading this weeks newsletter. Gimaguas is truly such a cool and (possibly a little off beat?) fashion label, and I can’t wait to follow and whats next for them and their designs.
Just a little reminder too, that even though this content is a bit promotional, I love to just peruse and mostly appreciate a designers work and how others style it, and that to only purchase something if you have sat on it for a while and the piece truly resonates with you and your style (not because the latest influencer or celebrity is wearing it, or it’s a trending it piece)
much love,
xxx
