`Vibes Sent (with love) from 90s Miuccia`

Soooo as of recently, I have fallen into what may be the most heavenly cove of the internet: Miuccia Prada’s Vogue Runway Archives circa: The 90’s— hands down fashion’s peak.

The clothes, so timeless, classically minimalist yet a touch experimental, sooo chic and dreamy… crystalline almost— just simply gorgeous.

And the show’s. To watch Kate Moss strut down the runways in the 90’s - I hate to glamorise the time and fall into any cynicism- but today’s shows are just not comparing !!

And so, here is a collection of my most adored looks- along side a lil shopping list of similar(ish) taste- because Miuccia 100% is a fashion goddess and knows exactly what will be crystallised in time.

Prada Spring ‘92

worn to: the country club, probably soho house… or maybe the Hamptons to ‘a lunch’

worn to: a really sophisticated business dinner, or a law firm (with like a super laid back dress code… maybe Mirandas law firm from SATC ?)

**also, side note from the season: howwww amazing is a flower choker w a a blazer ?!!!! I know we low key already had this trend a little earlier this year, but (for some reason) I didn’t really hop on it- however now this has convinced me ha- Will be wearing this look to my next dinner for sureeeee :) and just look a Kate too:

worn to: okay picture this- it’s your typical mid summer’s day in the city, probably at like, 28 degrees (celsius), and you have just gone from the office, to grabbing a quick lunch and a lil goss sesh with girls… this is the look:

Prada Fall ‘95

worn to: oh date night obviously, theres wine, and candles- all the ambiance and is most likely at an Italian restaurant. This set paired with some gorgeous gold jewellery: it’s simple, sleek, and elegant.

Prada Spring ‘97

worn to: your wedding reception of course ! The romantic, garden-esque ceremony has come to an end, and now your staying on theme- but you have tousled your hair, brushed on a smoky eye and slipped some red platforms, giving the signal it’s to time to parrrtyyy !

Miu Miu Spring ‘98

worn to: euro vacayyyyy ! A day exploring a new city, like Rome- or St Tropez?? Wherever you are, you have a melting gelato in one hand and full of Prada shopping bags in the other.

Prada spring ‘98

worn to: A shopping spree ! Your skipping along the boulevard, arms full and heavy with bags- now time to find a cute cafe for some mid shop break r&r.

Also- these looks are soooo satc, don’t you feel?! I mean Prada spring ‘92 is such a bit of Charlotte, and a lot of these are very Carrie coded. I wander if these shows are where Patricia Fields got her inspo, or if Miuccia just knew what was hot in the 90s?
